My only regret is that Chach is not open for dinner so I could eat ALL my meals there! If you want an amazing breakfast or lunch/brunch, stay away from Commercial street and make your way to the east end of P-town! Freshness of ingredients is the key to great food and the people here understand that. Portions are generous but not overwhelming and everything is served looking as good as it tastes. Each time we dined here – a total of 5 times over 15 days – my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Notable are the “Benedict’s” (there are four selections), the Cuban sandwiches, potato salad to die for, any of the specials, and the coffee – which is a local roast. They also offer a lovely range of cocktails and some bottled beers.
Service here is efficient and friendly and everything hums along no matter how busy they are. If you are especially hungry or like me – enjoy chatting with staff – choose seating at the counter. If you want more intimate and quieter seating there are two booths in the front room or about 14 other tables in the adjacent dining room.
Chach is small and lively but not overcrowded and the bright and cheery atmosphere is just right for the P-town location. There is a small parking lot so if you are not staying in P-town and driving in you will not have to pay for parking.
Chach has definitely made it’s way onto my “I would travel here just for this restaurant” list.
